Marlowe & Tucker Apothecary Co. ("we," "us," "our") is a small, family-run apothecary registered in the State of New Jersey and operating from 2305 Webster Street, Newark, NJ 07102. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through our website (tucker2015.com) and our day-to-day business, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. The site and the business are owned and operated by Antonio Kline.

1. Information we collect

We try to collect as little as we reasonably can. In practice, this falls into three buckets:

• Information you give us directly — your name, postal address, email address, and phone number when you place an order, write to us, or subscribe to our monthly note. If you call to order, we may take payment details over the phone; we do not store full card numbers in our own systems.
• Information collected automatically — when you visit the site, our hosting provider records standard server information such as your IP address (truncated after thirty days), the pages you visited, the date and time, and the type of browser and device you used. We also use a small number of cookies (see our Cookie Notice).
• Information from third parties — if you pay an invoice by card, our payment processor (Stripe, Inc.) shares the last four digits of the card and the billing ZIP code with us so we can reconcile orders. We do not receive the full card number.

2. How we use it

• To prepare, package and ship the goods you have ordered.
• To answer questions you send us, whether by email, phone, or our contact form.
• To send the monthly note, if you've subscribed (and only if you've subscribed).
• To keep accurate financial records as required by United States and New Jersey tax law.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents on our website.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not build behavioral profiles. We do not run retargeting pixels.

3. Legal bases (for visitors in the EEA, UK, and similar jurisdictions)

Where the GDPR or similar regulations apply, we rely on the following legal bases: (a) contract, to fulfill an order you have placed; (b) legitimate interest, to operate and secure our website and respond to your inquiries; (c) consent, for the monthly note and for non-essential cookies; and (d) legal obligation, for record-keeping required by tax and consumer-protection law.

4. How long we keep it

• Order records: seven years, as required by federal and state tax authorities.
• Customer correspondence: two years, then deleted unless tied to an open matter.
• Newsletter list: until you unsubscribe, plus a thirty-day grace period.
• Server logs: thirty days, then automatically purged.

5. Who we share information with

A short list of service providers that help us run the business. Each is bound by a written data-processing agreement:

• Stripe, Inc. — credit-card processing.
• United States Postal Service and UPS — order delivery.
• DreamHost — website and email hosting.
• Buttondown — newsletter delivery.

We will also disclose information when required by valid legal process (subpoena, court order, or comparable). We will tell you about any such request unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Ask us to delete information, subject to our legal obligation to keep order records.
• Object to or restrict certain uses of your information.
• Opt out of the monthly note at any time (every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link).
• Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, write to privacy@tucker2015.com. We will respond within thirty days.

7. Children

Our website and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of sixteen. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please write to us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Security

The website is served over HTTPS with a TLS certificate issued by Let's Encrypt. Order and customer records are kept in an access-controlled system available only to Antonio, Mira, and Renata, each of whom uses two-factor authentication. Physical records (handwritten order slips) are stored in a locked cabinet in the studio.

9. International transfers

Our hosting and processors are based in the United States. If you are writing to us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. By corresponding with us you acknowledge this transfer.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy we will post the updated version at this URL and update the "Last updated" date above. For substantial changes we will additionally notify subscribers of the monthly note by email at least fourteen days before the change takes effect.
