Accessibility Statement

We want this website to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. Here is what we have done, what we know is imperfect, and how to reach us if something on the site gets in your way.

1. Our target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. That is the standard most U.S. federal agencies and many private organisations use as a benchmark.

2. What we have done

  • Semantic HTML throughout, with a logical heading hierarchy on every page.
  • Colour contrast reviewed against WCAG AA thresholds; body text sits above a 7:1 ratio on the primary background.
  • Keyboard navigation for all interactive elements, including the navigation menu, forms, cookie banner, and disclosure widgets.
  • Focus outlines are preserved — we do not suppress them.
  • Text remains legible at 200% zoom without loss of content or functionality.
  • Form fields carry visible labels associated by for / id.
  • Motion is limited to short, non-essential reveal animations; nothing flashes.
  • No auto-playing audio or video.

3. Known limitations

This site is maintained by a small practice, and we are honest about what is imperfect:

  • Some decorative background photography is used at the top of pages. It does not carry information and is marked as decorative to assistive technology.
  • Our cookie banner appears near the bottom of the viewport; on very small screens it may briefly obscure a line of content before it is dismissed.

4. Contact and feedback

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this website, or if you would like content in an alternative format, please contact us and we will do our best to help within five business days:
